The regeneration of an old square in the Liberties in Dublin is expected to create 1,700 jobs.

Developers behind the project in Newmarket Square in the south inner city are planning a hotel, a micro brewery, an indoor market, shops, offices and homes.
The old 1970s enterprise centre is in line to be demolished in the 400,000 sq ft project with building work also extending on to nearby Mill Street.
Newmarket Partnership said about 500 people will be employed in the construction phase with the potential for a further 1,200 jobs when the scheme is complete.
And it said the development will complement the Dublin City Council's 3.2 million euro upgrade of the square, home to the newly established Teelings Distillery.
A spokesman for the Newmarket Partnership said the area had suffered significant neglect in recent decades.
"Much of the regeneration we are planning would involve replacing 1970s enterprise and factory units with mixed use development comprising a hotel, new retail and office space and accommodation.
"We also plan to include a micro brewery in our regeneration," he said.
"Newmarket Square has witnessed a rebirth thanks to the Teeling Distillery and some outdoor markets but we believe now is the time to transform the old enterprise centre into a residential and retail hub, with an iconic hotel and other attractions which will encourage people to not alone visit but reside in the heart of Dublin."
Planning permissions for the regeneration work are to be lodged with Dublin City Council.
