Two women arrested in relation to an incident in Ballymun, Dublin, during which a garda was shot have been released without charge.
A file is being prepared for the women, aged 24 and 47, and will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Both a garda and another man were wounded in the incident which occurred in the north Dublin suburb, during a planned operation against organised crime.
Gardaí in uniform and members of armed units including the Emergency Response Unit attempted to force their way into a house in a dawn raid.
However, as the operation began shots were discharged, which gardaí believe came from inside the house as they were trying to break down a reinforced door.
Investigating gardaí are continuing to question a man in his 40s.
A second male, aged 18, was arrested on Friday morning in connection with the case and is in custody at Ballymun garda station.
On Friday Det Supt Colm Fox appealed to anyone who was in the vicinity of 1 Barnwell Drive between 6pm on December 6th and 7am on December 7th, to make contact.
“In particular, we would like to hear from taxi drivers, takeaway food outlets who may have delivered to this address or anyone else who may have had reason to call to this address,” he said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ballymun Garda station at (01) 666 4400 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
